Piggy-Piggy arrived at DAKTARI when she was just wee little baby at only 2 weeks old and weighed 600 grams. She lost her mom, sisters and brothers and she was very weak when DAKTARI welcomed her with open arms. We took her to the vet where she received some uplifting treatment. She now enjoys good milk, healthy food and all the loving attention possible from all the members here at DAKTARI. Piggy Pig is sending out a squealing call to you for 500$ to get the food and care she needs and deserve.
Piggy is an orphan baby warthog who cannot survive by herself in the wild. She is being hand raised by DAKTARI and is delighting at her second chance in life, that unfortunately her family didn't have. We would like, with your support, to give her all the love and care she needs and deserves to grow up and become a happy, strong and independent warthog.
DAKTARI provides Piggy with healthy food and good care. The nutrition includes milk, game pellets, fruits, vegetables, that we have to buy regularly (she eats A LOT!). On the other hand, as you know Piggy is a warthog and she is growing up very quickly! She lives everyday with us in our community camp and it is just a matter of time until she devours and destroys everything in her path. It is pretty easy to anticipate the fees that this warthog will cost our charity :)
Piggy Piggy is a young Warthog and has 15 years of life ahead of her. With your help we can keep her happy and include her in our educational program to teach the local underprivileged children about their environment. This teaches them that killing wildlife is unnecessary and that there are other solutions to protect their livestock. These solutions will help keep their environmental heritage alive. We will release Piggy Piggy when she will be strong enough to survive by herself in the wild.
