How to Redeem a Gift Card or Gift Certificate
What's A Gift Card?
Someone just gave you a chance to donate to the grassroots charity project of your choice! With a little help from GlobalGiving, creating change is three easy steps away.
How Do I Create Change?
1. Find a project that moves you.
- Browse by topic or geography and choose one or more projects you want to support. From education and health care to economic development and the environment, we have a project to address your interests - currently, over 425 projects in 70 countries!
2. Ready...set...give!
- Indicate the amount you wish to give (minimum $10) and click "Give Now." You'll be taken to your Giving Cart.
- You can give more than the amount of your Gift Card, and pay for the balance using a credit/debit card or PayPal.
3. You're almost done...
- Click on the link that says "Have a gift card or gift certificate?" to reveal the gift card box.
- Enter your Gift Card or Gift Certificate code into the box that appears and hit the "update total" button after you enter the code.
- Your Donation Total will adjust by the amount of the Gift Card. Click "Pay With a Gift Card(s)" and if the balance was $0, you're all done! If a balance remains, you'll be prompted for payment information.
- If you redeemed part of your Gift Card, your Gift Card will retain the remaining balance.
- You'll receive a confirmation via email.
