This microproject will provide one Afghan boy with the tuition, books, uniform and stationary he needs in order to attend a private high school. Without this scholarship, the boy will be unable to attend school.
Afghanistan does not have enough public high schools for all students to attend, and where public schools do exist, they often do not offer a high quality education. This project will make it possible for one male student to attend a private high school, where he will receive high quality instruction.
This microproject will provide one Afghan boy with tuition, books, uniforms and stationary, all of which are required for him to attend a private high school.
This project will change the course of one boy's life. By giving to this project, you are opening a world of possibility for him. You are assuring that this boy will be one of the 43.1% of Afghan men who are literate. As he grows and begins his own family, he will have a better chance of being able to provide for this family, and will see the value of education. It is our belief that this will lead to him encouraging his children to pursue an education as they grow.
