Sakura Matsuri Community Noto Peninsula Recovery Fund

Our friends in Japan's Noto Region remain in great need as a result of the New Year's Day earthquake that claimed hundreds of lives and left over ten thousand homeless. During this year's Sakura Matsuri - Japanese Street Festival, Japan America Society of Washington, D.C. is helping to remind our friends and neighbors of the Noto Region's need, and to raise funds for Peace Winds' ongoing recovery efforts. Donations help Peace Winds' provide essential supplies for evacuees moving into temporary housing, organize special programs for senior citizens and children, and undertake community rebuilding efforts.
